With their roots steeped deep in the tradition of the classic 70′s period of conscious reggae, the High Hopes Band (HHB) is considered one of New England’s premiere reggae bands. High Hopes combines influences of roots reggae, dub, & RnB into its own style and sound.

High Hopes has been performing throughout New England for the last 10 years. 2015 marks their 3rd year of touring the U.S. Virgin Islands and their first West coast touring coming in July. High Hopes has provided tour support for Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Ziggy Marley, Maxi Priest & Midnite, to name some of the bands/artists they’ve worked with.

At every High Hopes Band performance, audiences are often treated to a wide range of music styles while thanks to the band’s influential bassist, Julie Feola, they also keep it grounded in the foundation of their heavy roots sound. Hailing from St. Croix-US Virgin Island, vocalist Sebastian Franks, with his soulful vibe, creative writing skills, and catchy melodic hooks adds a fresh neo-soul like RnB influence to the band’s already diverse sound. In addition to his role as band member, Franks has played a vital role in developing projects with bands both in the US Virgin Island as well as in the Boston area.

High Hopes Band is keyboardist Paddy McDonnell brings his own reggae dub approach to original material written by the band.

East Coast Reggae Jam Rock band, TreeHouse! formed in 2010 in Myrtle Beach, SC, with members, Jeremy Anderson on vocals and guitar, Matt Link on bass, and Trey Moody on drums. TreeHouse! spearheaded its own original local following in the area until the band was performing special events with some of the biggest acts in their genre at venues such as House of Blues.

TreeHouse! released its debut album in June of 2011 and began touring continuously from North Carolina to Florida. By 2012, the band was performing at regional conferences, events, and festivals across the Southeast. After jamming hundreds of shows together, the band released its sophomore album, Growth, in May of 2013, composed of songs all written through live jams. Since 2013, TreeHouse! has been expanding more North, from Virginia to New York and Ohio. The band has found its “growth” and its niche as a heady festival act, but the band has been known to turn any room into a Rasta Woodstock!

TreeHouse! has two albums out now, the self-titled debut TreeHouse! Album (2011) and the Growth album (2013), both self-produced. The band has been touring heavily across the East coast in promotion of Growth, from Florida to New York to Ohio to Tennessee to the Virgin Islands, and everywhere in between, building a network of good-vibin’ peoples.
